Chandler, also known as Sleeman Sports Complex is Queensland’s home of swimming. It is situated only 17 kilometres from the city centre on Old Cleveland Road and provides a comprehensive range of venues and facilities.
As most visitors to the complex would know, it has a connection with one of the major sporting events in Brisbane's history, the 1982 Commonwealth Games. This complex was purpose built for those games and played host to many of its sporting events.
Today, the Brisbane Aquatic Centre remains Brisbane's home of aquatic sport, servicing a diverse range of activities.
