| The fourth addition to the Aquatic Achievers family of indoor swim centres is located at 948 New Cleveland Road Gumdale. ‘Gummy’ has 2 pools, one 20m in length and the other 25m. We have an extended viewing room and reception as well as ‘The Purple Cow Cafe’. Teachers, parents and children all agree that Gumdale truly is a family atmosphere, especially when it comes to events such as the Christmas and Polar Bear party and grandparents week.

A swimmmer in his youth, Nick began teaching children as a part-time job while studying his undergraduate degree. Quickly the part-time job turned into a passion and a full time career. 10 years later he is recognised as an Authority on Learn to swim. Training new teachers and introducing new ideas to seasoned teachers is a great highlight for Nick. "I really enjoy teaching kids myself, but I take a great deal of pride in seeing new teachers taking great classes. I remember my first classes and the buzz of helping kids achieve new skills. Its fantastic when I get to see that in teachers I have trained."
Polar Bear Club 2012
